Type of products
The caltrack products contain the coincidences issued of many sensors under the CALIOP subtrack for 2 resolutions :
- 333m : they are based on the reference CALIOP L1 subtrack. They are also called caltrack_l1 products
- 5km : they are based on the reference CALIOP L2 5km subtrack. They are also called caltrack_l2 products
For each product, one file per target sensor is constructed. They are called caltrack unit files
Naming convention
caltrack_level_productid_calipso-orbit-timestamp.hdf
| level | Level of the CALIOP reference substrack. One of l1 : reference is the CALIOP L1 track l2 : reference is the CALIOP L2 5km track |

| calipso-orbit-timestamp | The timestamp of the CALIPSO source half orbit, using its standard format yyyy-mm-ddThh-mm-ssZ[DN] |

For accessing those data, you need to have a valid ftp account and the right to access caltrack data. If you do not have one or want to upgrade your account with an access to caltrack data, please fill the « FTP Access Registration » form that can be found here
